India’s Olympic gold medallist and world champion javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra has taken a major step in his professional journey. After working together for almost a decade, Neeraj has officially parted ways with JSW Sports. Along with this, he is preparing to launch his own athlete management and sports development venture named Vel Sports.

According to sources, the contract between Neeraj Chopra and JSW Sports expired in December 2025, and both sides mutually agreed not to renew it.
A decade-long partnership comes to an end
Neeraj Chopra first became associated with JSW Sports in 2016 through its Sports Excellence Programme. Since then, the organisation has supported Neeraj through the biggest milestones of his career, including:
